Le Diamant

Le Diamant combines unique physical charm with the hearty spirit of an intrepid adventurer. She has an ice-classification of 1D allowing her access to the Arctic and Antarctic.

Le Diamant can carry 220 passengers, but Zegrahm will comfortably have 140-180 passengers on board, and the high passenger to staff ratio will ensure all your needs are met.

All spacious king- or twin-bedded cabins are outside and well-equipped with TV and VCR/DVD player, a small refrigerator and minibar, excellent storage space, and en suite facilities featuring a hair dryer and bathrobes. Some cabins feature a private balcony. A stunning panoramic observation lounge on the top deck leads the superb list of facilities, including a fitness center, library with e-mail station, outdoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, salon, and two gourmet restaurants. A dedicated, tiered lecture facility makes certain all passengers can be accommodated for presentations and recaps. Le Diamant travels at 15.5 knots, a higher nautical speed than most expedition vessels, which means more time for exploring ashore.

CABINS

• All cabins have either one king-size bed or single beds, two wardrobes, two drawers with locks, a plasma-screen TV
  and DVD player, hair dryer, two bathrobes, individual air conditioning and heat control, and 220 volt outlets taking
  European round-pin plugs.
• Most Jade Deck cabins are 183 square feet and have two portholes and a bathroom with a shower.
  Cabins 306 and 332 are 200 square feet with a living room and four portholes.
• Turquoise Deck suites are 398 square feet with two bathrooms—one with a shower and one with a tub.
  Other cabins are 200 square feet with one bathroom that includes a small tub. All Turquoise Deck cabins have windows.
• All Emeraude and Rubis Deck cabins are 200 square feet with windows and a bathroom with a small tub.
• All Diamant Deck cabins are balcony suites with two outside deck chairs, two inside easy chairs and small table, a bathroom with tub, and windows.

DINING

• The Iles de France dining room on the Jade Deck holds the full complement of passengers at one seating.
• Other dining areas include L’Escapade restaurant on the Rubis Deck and an outdoor grill on the Turquoise Deck.
• Special dietary requests can be fulfilled with advance notice. Kosher meals are not available.
• Appetizers and dessert are served buffet-style.
• Wine, mineral water, and coffee are included during lunch and dinner.

SERVICES

• Le Diamant carries a fleet of Zodiacs.
• Public spaces include three lounges, sun deck, four bars, and library with e-mail station.
• Facilities include fitness center, outdoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, hair salon, massage parlor, and boutique.
• Laundry services (no dry cleaning) and a doctor and infirmary are all available on board. Rates are posted.
• The library has a collection of CDs, videos, and games, in addition to books, available for lending.
• The euro is the currency used on board. Most credit cards and traveler’s checks are accepted for payment of shipboard accounts
