National Geographic Islander

This new addition to the Galápagos is a versatile 164-foot twin-hulled vessel with 24 spacious cabins comfortably accommodating 48 guests. She is a sturdy expedition ship, designed for year-round discovery and active exploration of the Galápagos. Both the dining room and the lounge feature full-height windows providing a beautiful panorama to these magical islands. The Islander carries a fleet of four Zodiacs, capable of launching at a moment's notice to view wildlife and to make remote landings. The ship carries a complete range of snorkeling gear including wetsuits as well as a Splash-Cam and video microscope. A video chronicler is also onboard shooting, editing, producing and duplicating a unique video / dvd of your trip.

3 Bridge Deck #301–306* - Conveniently located, cabins feature window, writing desk and 2 lower single beds that can convert to a queen bed.
*Sole Occupancy: 301, 302
4 Upper Deck #403–408* - Spacious cabins feature writing desk, 2 lower single beds that can convert to a queen bed and outside glassed in terraces with seating. There are large windows in the top half of the terrace doors.
*Cabins #403 & 404 are double beds only
5 Upper Deck #401 and 402 - These are the largest cabins onboard. These cabins feature wrap around windows, and 2 lower single beds that can convert to a queen bed. All have a desk, chairs, and table. They also feature outside glassed-in terraces with seating.
