Safari Endeavour Cruise Review
Itinerary: Discoverer's Glacier Country - August 2013
We want you to know that everything went exactly as planned. Every little detail including limos showing up on time was perfect. On your suggestion we came into Juneau early and explored. Thank you for making the reservation, our room was fab, not all the rooms in the hotel are as nice as you explained.
We thought doing the cruise first and Denali after was perfect. We had the time of our lives. The flight over Mt. McKinley is something we will never forget.
We looooved Denali and Kantishna Roadhouse (the food could be better but not important in the scheme of things).
We saw lots of wildlife on both the cruise and in Denali. It was awesome, awesome, awesome. I told Ernest many times that I needed to let you know how fabulous the entire trip was.
We loved the cabin you recommended on the boat. Commander Stateroom # 304. You were so right about being outside and close to the bow so that when there were sightings, we could experience it almost immediately. We loved our Captain Kendra - an amazing woman. We loved the photography experts on board. And the icing on the cake was that on the final night of the cruise, she woke us at 12:30am to see the northern lights. Not only did we see northern lights, but also shooting stars. Who could ask for more?
Linda, thanks, we give you credit for all of it but the northern lights and the shooting stars. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
