National Geographic Sea Bird Cruise Review

Itinerary: Exploring Alaska's Coastal Wilderness - July 2007

National Geographic Sea Bird

We are just back from our trip of a lifetime. We can't thank you enough for all your work on our behalf. We were so well prepared due to all the educational material you provided us along the way.

The ship was nothing fancy, but the crew and the experience made it all golden. We saw a huge list of wildlife and sea life. We hiked, we kayaked, we swam, (it was so warm we jumped in for no more than 3 seconds), we made new friends, we ate, we learned, we loved every minute of it.

We are glad we took the higher category cabin, it was worth the extra cost. Our location was excellent. Our visits to the little villages and ports was special. We felt so honored to be on our little Lindblad ship every time we saw a huge ship. Luckily they were always in the distance. We were stopped watching and moose cross the water in front of us. There in the distance of main shipping lanes was a Princess and Holland America ship. All of us on deck had a good laugh and would never consider a 3,000 passenger floating city.

Our only regret, and you did mention this to us and we turned it down. If we were to do it again we would have added the Denali land tour extension. Other who did it raved about it.

Thank you again for everything. Our next adventure is going to be Galapagos, you will be hearing from us.
