American Star Cruise Review

Itinerary: Historic South & Golden Isles - November 2010

Linda, we can't thank you enough for all the arranging you did for our group of 20. Your arrangement of our 10 cabins across from each other and in a row allowed us to have our own little party at the end of the ship. We would all open our doors and go from one room to another with our drink in hand. We were quiet and respected other passengers who ended up joining us in our fun times. We made the best friends and plan to sail with them again on another American Cruise Lines sailing.

The good...lovely large well furnished cabin, ship was spotless, elevator a real plus after walking the port all day, staff with a smile on their face from the second you arrive to the minute you leave the ship every day, food was varied and excellent, shore excursions were interesting with good options, great speaker on history of the south, perfect amount of sailing and being in port time, docking in the middle of downtown in most ports was enjoyed.

The good but could be improved upon...internet connection was spotty, more than one computer in the library would be good, morning exercise or stretch class would be good.

We all enjoyed this experience and would recommend Linda and her staff in a heartbeat. We were not the easiest people to work with as we all had our own agenda. Once we were on the ship everyone was on the same page.
