Caribbean Cruise Review: Royal Clipper

Hi Linda- We're back from our trip and except for a rough first and last night (rough seas, not your fault) it was terrific.

Everything you arranged for us and Amy was perfect. You left nothing out and it was a real comfort to have all the vouchers etc. right there. Your assessment of the ship was right on target—not like Cruise West but just as good. It was a mixed crowd of Americans and Europeans, Brits and Canadians, which made it more interesting. Also there were about 10 kids, all well behaved and fun. They don't do the naturalist bit but I'm not sure we needed it; the guides on the local trips were good and the ship is gorgeous.

The evening activities are hokey and fun—low keyed and the food was excellent. The difference between the crew of Cruise West and the Royal Clipper is the personal touch, but the Royal Clipper has twice the number of people.
