Alaska Cruise Review: Spirit of AlaskaGlacier Wonderland - June 7, 2004
We met the Cruise West group at the Sheraton Hotel in the afternoon as our documents directed. We were glad to see another family with teen boys. We were welcomed and our excitement was highhanded by the energetic Cruise West crew. They seemed as eager to get on the ship as we were. Very interesting ride down to Whittier. Whittier is an education in itself. We found our cabin, small that it is, but we were warned of this so more or less expected the size. It is nice to have a window. We all very much enjoyed our short cruise. The food was delicious, the crew knowledge, fun and professional. We enjoyed Cordova and the chance to see a traditional fishing village. We felt the cruise was a welcome extension of our time in Alaska. We only wish we had time to see more of the state. Margaret and John Panant
