Alaska's Inside Passage - August 10, 2005

Sorry for the delay in getting this review to you. I could write for pages telling you all we saw and did and experienced on Spirit of '98. I am sure you have heard it all before, for I can't imagine anyone not being overwhelmed by the Cruise West expeience and Alaska in general.

Sitka and Skagway were outstanding in my book, each for different reasons. Our time in Glacier Bay was picture perfect. I must have 50 photos of iceburgs, the color blue being so incredible I couldn't stop clicking away.

We did enjoy Category AA, just like you said, being able to open our door and be in the elements was special. Yes, it did rain, but we were prepared and nothing stopped us. The food was delicious. Thank you for the birthday cake, I remembered I told you it was my birthday but actually forgot and was shocked when the cake showed up. It was good fun.

We put down a deposit when we were on the ship for our next trip which we hope to be Baja in winter to see more whales. We will be in touch soon to book that.
