Alaska's Inside Passage - July 18, 2005

Linda, we loved our cruise of the Alaska Inside Passage. The cruise is so "outward focused" as opposed to "inward focused" on the big cruise ships. This was about the destination, the flora, fauna, history and people. Not about the casino and Bingo.

When we ended our cruise in Juneau we stayed an extra day. We ran into some big cruise people at the restaurant you suggested, Red Dog Saloon, what a kick. They said they were disappointed that they didn't see any whales on their cruise but at least they saw some bald eagles. They were shocked when I told them we saw whales literally every single day on our cruise.

Thank you thank you for your help and knowledge in making this the best vacation of a lifetime.
