Atlantic Coastal Cruise Reviews: American SpiritChesapeake Bay - June 2008We arrived in Baltimore and stayed an extra night in the Inner Harbor. It was a lovely area to walk around during the day. We were right near the Aquarium which we enjoyed for a few hours. The ship docks right in the inner harbor so we walked right to the ship. We were pleased with the accommodations, our cabin was large as well was our bathroom compared to other smallish ships we have been on in the past. We starting sailing at lunch time and were in Williamsburg / Jamestown before we knew it. We joined a tour offered by the cruise line and thought it was well organized. Each day we visited a new location with our sailing usually early in the morning. Crisfield was fun as it is the Crab Capital of the Word. Tangier Island a world apart with locals sporting an accent on found on the island. In Cambridge we visited a plantation, Oxford we visited a unique old shipyard and had a tour by the owner. Annapolis we took a tender into downtown and joined a city walk. We also took a tour of the Naval Academy and visited the chapel and huge dorms of the navel cadets.
