At no additional cost, guests have the opportunity to participate in onboard presentations and special field events with a photographer guest speaker, who will conduct special field events and onboard workshops throughout the cruise. Whether novice or seasoned photographers, you will receive valuable hands-on instruction on everything from image composition and digital image management to tips on how to be in the “right place at the right time”. While many of our guests are photography enthusiasts, our Photographers’ Cruises are for everyone. Each departure includes a full menu of activities as well as the expertise of our Exploration Leaders. The Panama Canal & the Wonders of Costa Rica

Join us to explore the coastal regions of neighboring countries for an intriguing blend of nature - plus a transit of the legendary Panama Canal - aboard our intimate vessel. Walk rain forest trails, home to capuchin and howler monkeys, three-toed sloths, iguanas and hummingbirds. Snorkel at Panama's famed Isla Coiba. Kayak along wildlife-rich coastlines.

Travel with a Photo Team: a National Geographic Photographer and a Lindblad Photo Specialist. They’ll help you improve your skills by working with you on photo composition and exposure, helping you develop your own unique vision, showing you how professionals edit and store images while on the go and sharing the stories behind some of their greatest images. Photography workshops on board let you learn in a hands-on fashion. The Photo Team will offer daily activities designed to maximize your photo opportunities, including excursions timed for the best light.
