If you ever wanted to explore lands time forgot, this is your chance to do it in style.
Join us for an Earth Journeys family travel experience highlighted by BBC Earth on-tour films and a specialist wildlife filming kit. Set sail for amazing tropical islands, truly a land that time forgot, on Tauck Bridges' family Galápagos tour that features a four-night cruise aboard M / V Santa Cruz.
A treasure trove of unique creatures live below the ocean's surface, and with the aid of a Go Pro camera you can capture what can't be seen from above. Have you ever seen birds wearing bright red or blue "shoes"? You will during this eco-cruise because the Galápagos is one of their favorite places to kick up their heels. How about prehistoric-looking iguanas? Or penguins and sea lions so friendly that they might swim right alongside you in brilliant blue water? Even the crabs are different here, with their bright red and yellow shells that provide quite a contrast to the black-lava rocks of these volcanic islands. Parabolic microphones bring the voices of nature to your ears... learn from Galápagos naturalists who travel with you... take walks on lave terrains... travel ashore via pangas... swim and snorkel... and spend two nights in colonial Quito.
We went on the July Tauck Bridges trip to the Galapagos aboard the Santa Cruz with our 9-year-old son and had the time of our lives! We heartily recommend this location to anyone, especially families. You will have an unforgetable experience!
