Wake to the cry of a soaring eagle, watch tons of ice thunder from the face of a glacier, observe lunge-feeding whales, walk forest trails to cascading waterfalls, bird-watching and identifying wildflowers as you go. Enjoy Zodiac and kayaking forays, whale watching, and learn about Alaska’s rich Native American heritage. A full day is spent in Glacier Bay National Park. You may also join our optional land extension to Denali National Park. 
This wilderness expedition travels through some of the most spectacular scenery in North America, sailing past mist-shrouded fjords and tidewater glaciers. These waters are among the best for whale watching, with good chances of finding humpback and orca whales. Along the way, meet people of Native American, Russian and Scandinavian ancestries. the excitement on deck as someone shouts, “Whales!” 
Much farther north than Alaska, Svalbard lies between Norway and the North Pole and offers the thrill of seeing magnificent ice bears in the wild. You’ll explore one of the wildest, most pristine and dramatic places on earth. Everything you do here—hike, kayak or Zodiac—feels fresh and adventurous. 
This is one of our most exciting and comprehensive voyages to Baja California
and the Sea of Cortez. The excitement lies in the possibility of incredible
encounters with whales and the flexibility of our expedition itinerary. There
will be time for whale watching and to linger with gray whales in their winter
nursery lagoons up close at water level from Zodiacs. And there are languid
days to explore the treasures of the rich Sea of Cortez aboard our small expedition
ship, a place with a large variety of whales, seabirds, desert vegetation and
some of the world’s most memorable sunsets. 
The Sea Cloud II sails the natural features of the Caribbean and visits colonial towns, historic forts and botanical gardens. You'll learn about reef ecology, as we snorkel among colorful corals and tropical fish. 
During your time aboard, this cruise will help to illuminate and navigate the French, Dutch, English and Spaniard cultures, both historic and contemporary. a thoughtfully considered framework based on Lindblad Expeditions’ experience
in the area for two decades. The goal is to provide you with the most extraordinary
Baja expedition experience possible. 
Beginning as a trickle in the high alpine meadows of western Canada, the Columbia
River flows through great, forested mountains and down desert canyons. This
is the grand gateway to the West, pioneered by Lewis and Clark, roamed by
fur traders, and traversed by courageous settlers as they forged their way
over the Oregon Trail. Your expedition is led by Historians and Naturalists
rather than conventional tour guides, specialists who share their enthusiasm
through informal talks, presentations and anecdotes over drinks at the end
of the day. 
The moment you step foot on your first island here you’ll see that freedom
and fearlessness are a way of life. Whether strolling the islands’ pristine
beaches, searching for the spectacular waved albatross, having a “chat” with
a particularly friendly sea lion, or snorkeling with Galápagos penguins,
a glorious feeling of uninhibitedness abounds. And, thanks to the legacy of
Jacques Cousteau, we are able to keep that feeling alive as we make wide use
of our fleet of nimble Zodiacs that can nose into landfalls and cruise along
reefs, which afford us intimate views of “the action.” 
The Galápagos Islands, located 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador,
provide a natural habitat for some of the world’s most unusual animals. This
remarkable journey brings you face to face with the extraordinary natural
wonders of this wildlife sanctuary. With an experienced staff of naturalists,
you encounter wildlife that does not fear people and is so abundant that you
may have to watch your footing to avoid disturbing the nap of a resting sea
lion or a passing iguana. This abundance of wildlife makes the Galápagos
one of the most impressive places on earth.
