Day-to-Day Itinerary

Day 1 - Bangkok, Thailand

Known for its beautiful ornate shrines and temples and vibrant street life, Bangkok is one of the top cities in the world to visit. Your ship is docked as close to Bangkok as any ship can get. Highlights include the Grand Palace & Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Arun, and the Floating Market. Extend your stay to include the overland Angkor Wat/Cambodia tour.

Day 2 - Ko Kut, Thailand

Far less developed and more idyllic than many other Thai islands, Ko Kut is rather flat and covered almost entirely by native forest or coconut and rubber plantations. You will find a number of pristine beaches here. We will anchor and tender to a private pier for a signature beach barbecue.

Day 3-4 - At Sea

Day 5 — Malacca, Malaysia

Malaysia’s history permeates this UNESCO World Heritage Site city. The older part of the city has, in addition to the old palace and large buildings, many private houses and shops from nearly a century or more ago, built by Chinese traders. Exploration here includes temples, churches, old Dutch houses and a village of traditional Melakan houses. The Jejak Warisan Heritage Trail features many historic sites. It goes into the Baba Nyonya Museum, temples, St. Paul’s and the Porta de Santiago monument.

Day 6 — Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

This is a city of many faces, from the aboriginal village on Carey Island to the sweeping 360° views from one of the world’s highest towers. It’s hard to know where to begin. Some sights are hard to miss – the soaring KL Tower and Petronas Twin Towers, for instance. Others are less apparent but every bit as fascinating. The British colonial buildings of Merdeka Square and the Royal Selangor Club. Like a crazy quilt, somehow it all blends together in a harmonious whole that is a thrill to explore.

Day 7 — Langkawi, Malaysia

The question here is not if you will spend your day enjoying nature but how. Explore this UNESCO Global Geopark of the mangroves by kayak or launch, or take a gondola up the mountain for outstanding views of the rainforest. Sea eagles and hornbills fly overhead, jungle and rice paddies cover 80 percent of the island, and most of the rest is covered by beautiful black or white beaches. What an ideal place to spend the day.

Day 8 — Phuket, Thailand

Known as the pearl of Thailand, Phuket is famous for pristine beaches, lush vegetation and natural beauty and is one of Southeast Asia’s most popular destinations. Discover the busy markets and ancient shophouses, the fabulous food and some of the finest resorts and spas in Thailand.

Day 9 — Phuket, Thailand

Known as the pearl of Thailand, Phuket is famous for pristine beaches, lush vegetation and natural beauty and is one of Southeast Asia’s most popular destinations. Discover the busy markets and ancient shophouses, the fabulous food and some of the finest resorts and spas in Thailand.

Day 10 — Penang, Malaysia

The culture, the cuisine, even the language here is a mishmash of Malay, English, Chinese, Indian, and more. Learn to speak a few words of Manglish (Malaysian English) to earn smiles from the friendly people in George Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its eclectic 200-year-old architecture.

Day 11 — At Sea

Day 12 — Singapore

Say hello to Stamford Raffles’ engaging city, a modern metropolis which is blended with the traditional historic towns of the founders. These include Chinatown, Little India and the Malay community of Kampong Glam. The Singapore River meanders through the center of the island with vistas of skyscrapers and historic shop houses, often side-by-side. Singapore is a tropical garden city with flowers and greenery everywhere. Among the attractions are the domes at Gardens by the Bay located near Marina Bay and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Botanic Gardens. Orchard Road is the epicenter for shopping some of Asia’s leading retailers and includes both international brands and local shops.
