Join an expeditionary voyage exploring the majestic Russian Far East and the glaciers, mountains, and wildlife of Alaska’s scenic southwestern coast, visiting remote islands and shorelines teeming with wildlife that have remained immune to the encroachments of mass tourism and are well beyond the reach of larger cruise ships.

Begin with an overnight stay in Anchorage and then fly to Nome, where you embark the Clipper Odyssey. Delight in varied flora and fauna, marvel at massive bird-filled cliffs, and immerse yourself in the beauty of remote and pristine island environments. Venture along the Russian coast to the multicultural towns and villages of the Chukchi Peninsula and Arakamchechen archipelago, where the diversity of marine life is extremely rich. Follow the course of famed 18th- and 19th-century Arctic adventurers as you explore the remote islands of the Bering Sea — including St Lawrence Island for a visit to the village of Gambell; the Pribilofs, with their Russian Orthodox heritage and extraordinary opportunities to view wildlife; and the pristine beauty of the islands of the Aleutian archipelago. Along the way, a distinguished staff of onboard experts will lead Zodiac excursions through hidden bays and to shore areas where no infrastructure exists, helping you identify a wide variety of birds and wildlife; on previous voyages, we have been fortunate to encounter brown bears, harbor seals, humpback whales, and sea otters, to name just a few.
